Lots of love, laughter and happiness was evident at the Valentines’ Afternoon Tea which was held at a local golf club. Members, family and friends arrived to a warm welcome and the Valentine theme was evident with roses and goody bags for the ladies and tables named after famous romatic couples. 
Also on the tables was a themed quiz which gave the winning table extra raffle tickets when it came to the draw.
Once everyone was settled, service began and a wondrous platter of sandwiches and stands of scones and cakes arrived for each table accompanied by tea or coffee. Needless to say everyone ‘tucked in’ as they chatted to each other and happiness spread throughout the room.
The raffle was well supported and together with donations a grand total of £400 was raised for the WM’s nominated charities. (The Stroke Association/Prostrate Cancer and other worthy local groups or causes)
Outside the weather was awful but those present really enjoyed being together inside for a fantastic event.
