It was a very happy meeting on Saturday when the newly retired Provincial Grand Master gave the assembled members a presentation entitled ‘Why We Sit Where We Sit in the Lodge’ Making it more interactive he recruited three ‘volunteers’ to help him. It was most informative and very well received.

Having a Grand Lodge Certificate to hand, he then presented to one of the two Master Masons mentioned in the last news page his Grand Lodge Certificate. A very happy time for all involved.

Also present at the meeting was a regular guest from Somerset. He enjoys visiting the lodge that his father belonged to and even wore his father’s regalia for the occasion.

Afterwards a great time was had at the Festive Board. Toasts all round and the visitor proudly presented a flagon of genuine Somerset Cider to the Worshipful Master who won it in the raffle!
