The Immediate Past Master, supported by the current Worshipful Master, the Charity Steward and the Secretary paid a visit to Redhill to present a cheque to the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex Air Ambulance staff to aid the valuable work they do. The cheque for £1262 was the result of fund raising during his time in Office.

Here they are with the cheque for KSS

The foursome were made very welcome and given a tour of the facilities and aircraft.

Not only helicopters but fully stocked cars

for nearby calls but with the same equipment

Whist they were not allowed in the helicopters they were shown some mock ups to give a sense of what reality looked like.

The casualty training module

and the business end of the air ambulance

The visit was just about to come to an end when the pager alerted the crew who went at great speed off, up and away to help at the latest emergency. They can be on scene within 30 mins for any incident south of the M25.

The latest helicopter

A very worthwhile day out. Thankyou KSS.
