The sun shone, the roses bloomed, the shades in place, the BBQ’s prepared, the chefs and helpers were all ready for the off.
Over fifty attended the ‘Cheers to Summer’ event. It was a really good afternoon enjoyed by all. Lots of chat, a game of ‘heads or tails’ and the raffle was also well supported.
Due to the generosity of all involved the grand sum of £863 was raised for WM’s charity of the year. Thank you to everyone involved, especially those who were part of the preparation and service but also to those attending.
