The Easter Bunny had been hiding eggs at the venue of the Lodge’s Hot Cross Bun Morning. Lots of searching going on as the children present filled their bags with tasty treats.
Some of the adults meanwhile took advantage of the glorious weather by taking their hot cross buns, chocolate cake or sausage rolls outside. Baileys was available alongside the coffee as was Prosecco if you wanted something to help make you think it was summer.
Lots of catching up with friends and meeting some new members made for a happy atmosphere.
Once the raffle, which raised £380, had been called, the Charity Steward turned his hand to magic and produced various flavoured candy floss for those who had a sweet tooth or still had room left!
All in all another good event with the hard work by the hosts and their helpers raising the current sum of
£960
