The spiced English confection known as a hot cross bun, which is associated with the end of Lent and is eaten on Good Friday in various countries was the main fare on offer at the latest Lodge event. It was a time to also remember friends Hazel and Derek who used to traditionally host this occasion.

There were lots of Easter bunnies in evidence along with a variety of hot and cold drinks and some savoury options. A lovely day, lovely company, a happy atmosphere and £603 raised for charity.
