A large group of members met for the annual LOI Supper. The traditional steak and kidney pudding (together with some dietary alternatives) were enjoyed by the brethren.

The atmosphere was extremely relaxed and convivial with lots of happy banter.

After the meal our Grand Officer presented a DVD which showed the original building of the magnificent structure of the Royal Sovereign Light Tower which was brought into use in September 1971. The Lodge had a tradition of delivering a Christmas hamper to the crew each year and on one occasion this was delivered in person by the WM of 1989 by helicopter. Those watching the video were engrossed in viewing the construction process and siting of the Tower but in particular with the H&S aspects of the time!

We will all miss the familiar shape of the Tower on the Southern horizon as most of it has now been removed.

The annual award of the cuff links was given to one of the recently made Master Masons for his dedication, commitment and learning.
