Super star, Chris Jones, the Lincolnshire Freemason who walked the coast of Britain, and who raised the most amount of money ever for the Masonic Charitable Fund by an idividual, was guest speaker at the Lodge’s LOI Supper this year.
In his talk Chris described the lows and highs of the walk, the trials of his trail and the laughter created by some of the locals he met along the way. It was an incredible journey likened to the darkness and light of the chequered Lodge floor.
Chris spoke about his background and the circumstances that lead to his mind ending in such a bad place. It was then he decided to take on this unbelieveable challenge.
He left Skgness on New Year’s Day 2023 for the longest pub crawl in history and after walking 6479 miles in 378 walking days arrived back on 9th December 2024
Chris’s efforts will take some beating.
